The Jacksonville Veterans Chamber of Commerce is a collective group representing our nation’s transitioning military, veteran business owners, and their families. The JaxVCC, in collaboration with community partnerships, works for the betterment of the veteran community by building a robust local economy, representing the interest of business with the government, enhancing economic opportunities, making change through advocacy, increasing sustainability, and providing networking and educational opportunities through: Business, Employment, Education, and Advocacy.

Our Mission

To enrich and increase sustainability within the lives of our nations transitioning military, veterans, and their families through Business, Employment, Education, and Advocacy.

Our Key Focus Areas

By focusing on these four key areas, we fulfill our mission while helping hundreds of veterans and their families live better and more fulfilling lives.

Business

Veterans are uniquely suited for entrepreneurship, business job creation and expanding the GDP of U.S. economy.

Employment

Employment expands beyond finding a career and includes understanding how to be successful in that career.

Education

We assist with career seminars, workshops, training, and more to help the transition back to civilian life.

Advocacy

We advocate on behalf of major issues affecting veteran businesses and community.

Dr. Wendy Norfleet

Dr. Wendy Norfleet is the CEO and founder of Norfleet Integrated Solutions (NIS). NIS specializes in working with clients to provide strategic solutions that include training and development, executive coaching, and business consulting. Wendy is a published author and holds life coach, leadership development and career development certifications. She was one of Jacksonville Business Journal Women of Influence 2020 and has been named as one of the Small Business Leaders of the Year for 2021. Wendy is a graduate of Wayne State University (Ph.D., Instructional Technology), University of Detroit Mercy (M.S., Computer Information Systems), and Detroit College of Business (B.S., Computer Information Systems). Wendy is active in the Jacksonville community, mentor for Take Stock in Children, serves on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations, adjunct professor for Florida State College of Jacksonville and LeTourneau University, and is the host of “On A Mission”.
